Welcome to our Culture Club Update The Culture Club is an online environment where teachers of foreign languages can find materials and information to help them teach about the culture(s) of their target language(s). Below you will discover what is currently featured in each of the nine rooms of the Club. Each room also has a link to its Collection where you will find all the previously-featured materials. If you have trouble following the links from the email, paste this URL into your browser: http://nclrc.org/cultureclub/email_club.html ITALIAN SCAVENGER HUNT: Dr. Bradley Holtman is the winner of the Italian Scavenger Hunt. He is an extraordinary linguist! He is currently a professor of German at Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. where he also occasionally teaches French. He has also taught French and German in high school and given individualized instruction in Italian, Spanish phonetics, introductory Russian, and Gothic. He has an M.A. and PhD in Germanic Linguistics and Philology and a subspeciality in Dutch and Scandinavian Studies, Danish and Icelandic. He has chosen NCLRC's "Developing Listening Comprehension Skills Summer Institute" as his award.
